Refund Policy

Prowriting Hub (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides customized writing, editing, design, and publishing services. Due to the tailored and creative nature of our work, refunds are handled under the conditions outlined below. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

 

  1. General Refund Overview

Our services are personalized and often begin shortly after order confirmation. For this reason, full refunds are limited once work has commenced.

However, we review all refund requests fairly and, on a case,-by-case basis.

Refund requests may be considered if:

  • A written request is submitted through our official contact channels
  • The request is made within 10 days of delivery, or within 5 business days of payment (if no work has been delivered)
  • The project has not started or is still in its early stages

 

  1. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Change of Mind

  • Within 24 hours of placing the order (before work begins):
    Eligible for a full refund, minus applicable transaction fees
  • After 24 hours but before work begins:
    Refund may be issued after deducting administrative and transaction costs

2.2 Non-Delivery of Service

If we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to internal limitations or unforeseen circumstances, a full or partial refund will be issued based on the amount of work completed.

2.3 Non-Compliance with Agreed Scope

If the delivered work does not align with the agreed project requirements and remains unresolved after reasonable revisions, a partial refund may be considered in proportion to the completed work.

2.4 Delay in Delivery

If delays occur due to our responsibility and a reasonable resolution cannot be provided, a refund may be issued, depending on the project status.

  • Full refund available before delivery of the first draft
  • Partial refund available if partial content has been created
  • No refund once the full manuscript has been delivered
  1. Editing & Proofreading
  • Partial refund if canceled before work begins
  • No refund once editing or proofreading work has started or been delivered
  1. Publishing Services

No refund once any of the following has begun:

  • ISBN registration
  • Formatting or layout work
  • Platform submission
  • Metadata setup
  1. Marketing & Distribution

No refund once:

  • A campaign has been initiated
  • Third-party costs (e.g., advertising spend, press releases) have been incurred
  1. Design Services (Covers, Layouts, Branding)
  • Partial refund if canceled before initial design drafts are delivered
  • No refund once design concepts or files have been shared

 

  1. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The project has been fully delivered and approved
  • Delays are caused by lack of client communication or feedback
  • Project requirements are changed after approval
  • Dissatisfaction is based on subjective or personal preference
  • Digital files or deliverables have already been provided
  • Third-party costs (e.g., ISBNs, advertisements, printing) have already been paid

 

  1. Revision & Resolution Policy

Clients are encouraged to utilize the revision process before requesting a refund. We provide reasonable revisions based on the agreed project scope. Refunds will not be considered unless revision opportunities have been reasonably exhausted.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your project, please contact us through our official channels.

  • Within 24 hours (before work begins): Full refund minus transaction fees
  • After work begins: Refund eligibility depends on project stage and service type
  • For multi-phase projects: Completed phases are non-refundable; upcoming phases may be canceled

 

  1. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please submit:

  • Your Order ID
  • Project details
  • Reason for the request

Processing timelines:

  • Review period: 5–7 business days
  • Approved refunds processed within: 7–14 business days

Transaction fees charged by payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) are non-refundable.

 

  1. Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most concerns can be resolved through communication and revisions. Unjustified chargebacks may be formally disputed using project records and communication history.

 

  1. Force Majeure

Prowriting Hub is not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, system failures, power outages, pandemics, or geopolitical events.

 

  1. Client Responsibilities

Refund requests may be declined if the client:

  • Fails to provide required materials or instructions
  • Remains unresponsive for extended periods
  • Requests significant changes after project approval

 

  1. Policy Updates

Prowriting Hub reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be reflected on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
